Privacy policy

This page explains what EasyDecor (easydecor.homes and the Studio at easydecor.homes/app) collects, what it is used for and what rights you have over your data. Any question, write to [email protected].

Who runs EasyDecor

EasyDecor is built and run by the EasyDecor team. The team is responsible for the data described here; anything about your personal data goes to [email protected].

What we keep

• Your account: email, display name and password (stored only as a hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email, name and Google account identifier.
• Your projects: plans, models, quotes and your chat with the design assistant. Before you sign in, projects stay only in your browser; once you sign in, they are kept in your account so you can open them on another device.
• Photos and drawings you upload, and the pictures the AI makes from them.
• Technical data: the IP address and browser of each signed-in session, and a log of actions on your account, to keep it safe and stop abuse. The log is deleted after 180 days.
• Referrals: when you open someone’s referral link, your browser keeps their code for 60 days; if you create an account, it records who referred you. Referrers only see how many people signed up through their link, not who you are.
• The contact form on the landing page: your name, email or phone number, what you need and your message. Kept for at most 12 months.
• Landing page statistics: only daily totals of views and clicks. No cookies, no IP address, nothing that could identify you. Your browser keeps the name of the channel that first brought you (google.com, for example); if you later create an account, we only add one to that channel’s count of new accounts, without tying the channel to your account.

We use it to

• sign you in, save your projects and open them again;
• make the designs, pictures and models you ask for;
• share the AI fairly between accounts, and detect and stop abuse;
• send verification and password-reset emails, and get back to you when you leave your details.

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Who else processes it

• OpenAI receives the photos, descriptions and chat needed to make what you ask for.
• Google, when you choose to sign in with Google.
• An email provider sends verification and password-reset emails, and forwards contact-form messages to the EasyDecor team.
• Microsoft Azure hosts the servers that keep the data, in the eastern United States, so your data is transferred outside your country.

When you create a share link for a design, a copy of that design (without its underlay drawings) can be opened by anyone with the link.

The iPhone, iPad and Android app

The EasyDecor: AI Room Styler app shares its accounts and server with the Studio. It opens the camera or photo library only when you tap to take or pick a photo, and sends only the photo you chose to the server to create the design. Your sign-in is kept in the device’s Keychain (Android Keystore on Android). The app shows no ads, uses no third-party tracking or analytics tools, and does not track you across other apps or websites. The full list of what the app collects is on the App privacy page.

Cookies

The Studio uses one session cookie to keep you signed in, and your browser’s storage for projects, language and preferences. The landing page sets no cookies at all; it only keeps the code of a referral link you opened in your browser’s storage.

Your rights

You can view, edit or delete your projects in the Studio itself. To get a copy of your data, correct it, withdraw your consent, or delete your account with everything in it, email [email protected] from the address on the account. We will confirm and handle the request. The steps are on Delete your account.

Changes

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
